Accessible Digital Products
Bloume is first and foremost a wellness application for women, built with expert guidance and oversight to support and educate. As such, we believe everyone can benefit from our services and seek to ensure that accessibility and inclusion are incorporated into our products and platforms.
As part of our commitment to diversity and inclusion, we are committed to the following:
- Making accessibility a core part of our business, and reflecting this in our internal policies and procedures, including our product development processes
- Embedding a culture of learning to support continuous improvement to benefit individuals using our products and services
- Creating a framework that holds us accountable to our commitments and reports our progress directly to our CEO
- Complying with accessibility assurance methods and reporting our findings publicly via this statement
Our Current Status and Assessment Method
The internationally aligned standard for accessibility in digital products is the Web Content Accessibility Guidance (WCAG) which sets out core principles companies should adhere to ensure accessible content for people with disabilities. Bloume has nominated roles with responsibility for conducting accessibility on our products and services.
Bloume conducted a self assessment aligned with the WCAG 2.2 framework and has achieved a rating of:
| WCAG 2.2 Tier | Bloume Conformity |
|---|---|
| A | |
| AA | Partial Conformity |
| AAA |

- Engage our customers in accessibility, enabling conversations directly with our development teams to better understand accessibility barriers, what is working and what isn’t to better inform future development activity
